A timeless, traditional design, the Claremont Queen Size Cast Iron & Wrought Iron Bed never goes out of fashion. Produced much the same way cast metal furniture has been made for centuries, it creates a striking contrast in a modern home or brings an authentic heritage feel to a period interior.
Antique White Finish — this is an off-white (not a pure white) that complements both contemporary and traditional décor.
The frame is made from steel tube with alloy castings throughout. Every join is either fully welded or fully cast for strength and stability in everyday use, ensuring the Claremont is built to last and become tomorrow’s antique.
The paint is powder-epoxy, electrostatically applied and baked at high temperature for durability. Castings are made using alloy.
The supplied frame is extra-strong with a cross bar at the head and foot. When installed correctly you won’t experience any shaking or rattling.
Slats
Slats are straight laminated plywood. Slats are fixed into the frame at specific points. These are not “floating” or “free standing” slats, nor are they posture slats.
