Colour is best described as a black distressed finish with brown undertones that can be seen through the paint. Sometimes referred to as a "Burnt Black Finish". Cast sections have a Verdi Gris (Blue/green/copper oxidized) finish.

THIS IS A CAST AND WROUGHT IRON BED, WITH A HIGHLY SPECIALISED PAINT FINISH. DO NOT CONFUSE THIS BED WITH INFERIOR STANDARD METAL WROUGHT IRON BEDS THAT ARE NOT CAST BEDS. 

A distinctive traditional design with hand forged curls and decorative castings, complimented by a hand applied and oven baked powder coat finish.

Slats are straight laminated plywood. Slats are fixed into the frame at specific points. These are are not "floating" or "free standing" slats, nor are they posture slats.
